FD Account: Bank Fixed Deposit has been a favorite scheme for investors, which is currently giving a good return. On depositing money in this, the money of the investors also remains safe. Banks give investors the option of investing from 7 days to 10 years under fixed deposits. You can deposit crores of rupees under this scheme. Different interest is given according to the tenure and amount.

On the other hand, if you withdraw money from this account before the time, then the charge is recovered from you. However, when your FD matures, you can withdraw it. Apart from this, it is renewed for one year. If your FD has also matured, then let us know how an FD can be closed on maturity and prematurely.

Banks give information regarding closure of the account only during the investment in Fixed Deposit. If your FD matures, the interest amount and principal amount will be transferred to your account. On the other hand, if you had opened an FD account through internet banking, then the process of closing it is even easier. All you have to do is go to the FD section with the help of internet banking and choose the option to close this account.
