    This time the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 19th September. On this occasion, there will be bank holidays at different places on 18th, 19th and 20th September. Apart from this, due to 17th September being Sunday, banks will remain closed across the country.

    The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp in all parts of the country including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh. Let us know when and where banks will be closed.

    According to the RBI calendar, banks will remain closed everywhere as September 17 is Sunday. There will be holiday on 18th, 19th and 20th September in different cities on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

    There will be holiday in banks at these places –

    According to the holiday list of Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Telangana on September 18 on the occasion of Varasiddhi Vinayak Vrat / Vinayak Chaturthi. There will be a bank holiday on September 19 due to Ganesh Chaturthi in Ahmedabad,

    Belapur, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji. Banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar and Panaji on 20th September i.e. the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi due to Nuakhai. In this way, banks will remain closed in Bhubaneswar and Panaji on 19th and 20th September.
