BSNL has created tension for private companies with its cheap recharge plan. The government telecom company has also been improving its connectivity in the last few years. Users are now getting 4G service all over India.
BSNL has installed 1 lakh new 4G/5G mobile towers all over India. Along with improving its connectivity, the government telecom company is also giving tough competition to private telecom companies with cheap plans. Apart from this, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is preparing to install 1 lakh more new towers. Recently, the chairman of the telecom company had announced this. BSNL is also preparing to launch its 5G service. Currently, the company has launched 5G FWA service in Hyderabad. Soon, this 5G fixed wireless broadband service of the company will be launched in many more cities of South India.
Cheap plan of 180 days
BSNL launched a cheap plan with 180 days validity at the beginning of the year. In this plan, users get benefits like unlimited calling, data and free SMS at low cost. This prepaid recharge plan of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited comes for Rs 897. In this plan, users will get the benefit of unlimited calling to call any number across India.
Not only this, users also get the benefit of daily 100 free SMS and free national roaming in this plan. Talking about data, a total of 90GB high speed data is offered to the users. However, no daily limit has been set for data use. If users want, they can use this data in one day or in full validity.
Talking about the prepaid plans of Jio, Airtel, Vi, in the price range of Rs 900, these companies offer only 84 days validity. Voice calling plans of private companies also come in the range of Rs 500, which offer validity of 84 to 90 days. Among the private companies, Vi is the only one that offers a 180-day plan. For this, users have to spend more than double the money compared to BSNL.
