A wedding celebration in Uttar Pradesh took a stunning turn when the UP bride disappears just hours after completing all the marriage rituals, forcing the groom to return home alone.
The incident occurred in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. The heartbroken groom’s family has now filed a formal complaint against the bride’s family.

Three months ago, the marriage between Pallavi and Sunil Kumar Gautam was fixed. On Tuesday night, the groom’s procession, complete with around 90 guests, reached Barabanki for the ceremony.

By morning, as preparations for the Vidaai (the ceremony where the bride formally leaves her parental home) were underway, the truth was revealed: the UP bride disappears without a trace. She had vanished sometime before dawn.
The groom, Sunil Kumar Gautam, was left with no option but to return home without his wife. This baffling event has left both families and the local community stunned.
Following the groom’s unexpected return, his family approached the police and filed a complaint against the bride’s family, seeking an investigation into the mysterious disappearance. Authorities are now looking into the matter to determine the circumstances under which the bride left.
