According to the announcement of the government, now the PF deducting organization is going to put interest money in the account of EPFO employees. Interest money will be sent to the account of more than 6 crore employees.
It is believed that by June 30, the interest will be deposited in the account. The EPFO has not made any official announcement to send money, but some media reports are making such a claim.
The government had decided to give 8.1 percent interest to PF employees for the financial year 2021-22. This amount is the lowest in the last 40 years. This decision to give money was taken in the meeting of the Central Board of Trustees of EPFO. At the same time, EPFO had sent money of 8.5 percent interest in the financial year 2019-2020.
