    Many times in life, you have to take help of loan to fulfill all the needs. But if you are employed and your EPF is deducted every month, then you can fulfill your needs by withdrawing EPF money while on the job. But some rules have been made for this. You can make advance withdrawal of EPF money only according to those rules. Know the rules here.

    Know how much amount you can withdraw and when.

    If you want to withdraw PF money to buy or construct a house or flat, then you can do so after completion of 5 years of service. But you can withdraw money only equal to 36 months’ salary.

    To buy land for a house, you can withdraw an amount equal to 24 months’ salary after 5 years and for repair, improvement or expansion of the house, an amount equal to 12 months’ salary can be withdrawn.

    If you want to withdraw EPF money to repay home loan, then it is necessary to have a job for 10 years. After 10 years, you can withdraw an amount equal to 36 months’ salary.

    If the company is closed for more than 15 days, the employee can withdraw his entire share deposited as EPF at any time. If the employee is unemployed for more than two months, he can withdraw his entire share in the PF account at any time.

    If the employee is fired from the job and the case is pending in the court, 50% of the employee’s share in the PF account can be withdrawn at any time.

    If money is needed for the treatment of yourself or your family members, an amount equal to 6 months’ salary can be withdrawn at any time. There is no fixed time limit for this job.

    Even if you want to make partial withdrawal from EPF for your or your children’s education, you will have to wait for 7 years. After 7 years of service, you have the right to withdraw up to 50 percent of your contribution from your EPF account.

    If your sister, daughter, son or any special family member is getting married and you want to withdraw EPF fund, then for this it is necessary to have 7 years of service. After 7 years of service, you can withdraw up to 50 percent of your contribution.

    Method of withdrawing money-

    For partial withdrawal of money from EPF, first go to the official website of EPFO ​​https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. Log in by entering UAN number, password and captcha code.

    After this click on Manage and check all the information on KYC option. If there is any deficiency, fill it. After this, go to online service and click on CLAIM (FORM-31, 19&10C).

    Here you will get some options to withdraw EPF money, choose the option as per your need. After this a drop menu will open. From this click on Claim.

    After this, click on Proceed For Online Claim and submit the claim form. After completing this process, the PF amount will come to your account within about 10 days.
