Flights Ticket will be expensive from September 1, government hikes these fees related to air travel

new Delhi. If you were or continue to travel by air, then this news will increase the weight on your pocket. Because the Central Government has increased the security fees (Aviation Security Fees) collected from passengers at the airport. This time the government has increased the aviation security fee by Rs 10 per passenger. Now the aviation security fee has increased to Rs 160 per passenger. This increase will be applicable on air tickets to be issued from 1 September.
Due to this, fees have been increased
Aviation security fees have been increased to meet the cost of increased security expenses at the airport. Due to this, air travel is expected to be expensive. CISF provides security at 61 airports in the country. Due to coronavirus there has been a decrease in footfall at the airport due to which the cost of security has increased. Apart from this, CISF is using equipment like PPE suits, masks, globs to check the passengers, which has increased the security cost.
The Civil Aviation Ministry has issued an order on 13 August in relation to the increase in aviation security fees. According to the order, the government has approved the increase in aviation security fees using the powers given in the aircraft rules 1937.
20 rupees were raised last year, the
government increased aviation security fees by 20 rupees in 2019 to 150 rupees per passenger. Airport operators had then stated that aviation security fees of Rs 130, determined several years ago, were insufficient to meet the CISF’s deployment expenses. Similarly, security fees have also been increased on domestic flights to international travel.

Whether you are looking for a basic plan to keep you reachable at all times, want an unlimited stream of entertainment to your smart device, or anything in-between — Vodafone UK pretty much has you covered on every front. The carrier offers a wide variety of plans to suit every need and every style, from the smartphone poweruser to the person who just wants to be able to take a phone call from time to time.
With Vodafone’s SIMO (SIM Only) plans, you don’t need to worry about purchasing a phone from the carrier. Just bring the device you own and love and grab a Vodafone SIM with the perfect plan for you. Here are your options:
August deal — incredible value on Vodafone Red
Vodafone Red plans have been designed for those that don’t need absolutely unlimited data, but want to enjoy fast speeds when they do. The Red plans come with the same perks as the Unlimited plans (listed below), but with a cap on how much you can download.
This August, the Vodafone Red 100 deal lets you quintuple your data cap, so you can feel like you are on an Unlimited plan, but still pay less! Check it out below:
Red 100 GB
This is based on the Vodafone Red 20 GB plan — you just get 5 times the data! It gives you the fastest speeds currently possible and lets you stream all your favourite media in UHD or play your favourite online games without ever taking a break. All of this, plus 51 roam-free destinations, for the low price of £20 per month!
Red 100 GB with Entertainment
Since you have access to the fastest Vodafone speeds and quite a lot of gigabytes to burn through, you might want to add a premium subscription to your favourite platform. For £27 per month, you get everything from Red 100 GB plus a subscription to one of the following — YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime, Sky Sports (includes Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Arena, Sky Sports News, Sky News), Spotify Premium, or NOW TV Entertainment Pass (which gives you 11 paid TV channels and 250 box sets to stream).
Unlimited is pretty much what it says on the tin — you are free to browse social media, streaming services, and whatever else is on the Internet with zero worries about running out of data. However, the plans have been split up in a few price tiers to provide more flexible options for the different users out there.
This is the biggest and best that Vodafone UK has to offer — unlimited calls and texts, unlimited data, and 81 roam-free destinations. You will always get the fastest speeds available to stream entertainment and play your favourite games to your heart’s content for £30 per month. The high speed guarantees you can share your pictures and videos anywhere, stream media in UHD, and that you can have an always-useful hotspot for all your Wi-Fi devices.
Unlimited Max with Entertainment
Add an extra £7 to your Unlimited Max and you can have 100 minutes of calling to any EU country, and a premium subscription to an entertainment service of your choice — YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime, Sky Sports (includes Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Arena, Sky Sports News, Sky News), Spotify Premium, or NOW TV Entertainment Pass (which gives you 11 paid TV channels and 250 box sets to stream).
The middle-of-the-road Unlimited plan has its data speed capped at 10 Mbps. That still translates to 1.25 MB per second, making it plenty fast for streaming HD movies or playing online games. Additionally, Unlimited still offers 51 roam-free destinations for the travellers out there. It’s the plan for those who still use their smartphone quite a lot but don’t feel like they would need all the high speeds of Max at all times. In turn, you save some money, with a £26 monthly fee.
Unlimited with Entertainment
Since Unlimited is fast enough to stream your favourite media, you can still make use of the Entertainment package. For £33 per month, you get everything Unlimited gets you, a 100 minute package for calls within the EU, plus a subscription to the service of your choice — YouTube Premium, Amazon Prime, Sky Sports (includes Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Arena, Sky Sports News, Sky News), Spotify Premium, or NOW TV Entertainment Pass (which gives you 11 paid TV channels and 250 box sets to stream).
You might be the social media user who definitely needs unlimited data but doesn’t care about streaming video or playing online games on their phone. Unlimited Lite is just for you — for a fee of £22 per month, you get unlimited texts and calls, 51 roam-free destinations, and unlimited data, capped at a speed of 2 Mbps — enough for you to chat and share with all your friends.
Save money with Vodafone Basics
Vodafone Basics are the no bells and whistles plans of Vodafone UK — if you only want data, calls, and texts, that’s exactly what you get. Since they lack the extra features of the Unlimited and the Red plans, you get to save quite a lot on a monthly subscription. Data speeds are limited to 10 Mbps, which is quite enough for all your social media needs plus streaming video in HD.
All of the Vodafone Basics plans offer unlimited texting and calling. They differ in data limits, with the lowest one offering 2 GB of data for £6 per month and the highest one being 100 GB for £20. The best value plans here are the 12 GB for £10/month or the 30 GB for £15. To put things in perspective — the average user who browses Facebook, Instagram, and watches a couple of hours of YouTube per day will usually do just fine with the 12 GB plan. Those who stream a bit more and don’t want to ever feel in danger of running out of data will feel the 30 GB plan to be roomy enough.

The new Netflix test behaves in the same manner as the existing “cancel membership” option.
Netflix is testing a new feature that allows users to pause their membership for up to 10 months. If you resume your Netflix subscription within that period, you’ll still have access to all your profiles, ratings, recommendations, viewing history, My List, and saved settings. If you return after 10 months, you’ll have to start from scratch. The “pause membership” option is available under “Account” on the website. Memberships are paused only at the end of your billing month though — not immediately.
That means Netflix’s new “pause membership” feature behaves in the same manner as the existing “cancel membership” option, since it too retains all the aforementioned data for 10 months. This new test seems to be more a case of Netflix improving its messaging and making the process more convenient, allowing users to get back on board with a single click. It’s possible that Netflix adds more features to “pause membership” down the road.
In a statement to Gadgets 360, Netflix said: “We’re always working on new ways to improve the Netflix experience. We experiment with these types of tests in different countries for different periods of time — and only make them broadly available if people find them useful.”
OnlyTech was the first to bring word of the new Netflix test.
Netflix used to have a “put membership on hold” feature in the early days — globally, not after its launch in India — that allowed members to pause their membership for a period of seven to 90 days. Subscriptions would pause the day you clicked the button, a feature that will hopefully come to the “pause membership” option too. Though it does present some challenges with the monthly fee if you decide to leave midway through.
If you don’t see the “pause membership” feature in your Netflix account, that’s because Netflix tests are limited. It will be rolled out to everyone if it’s received well.

Big change is going to happen in Google Play Store, you will be able to buy apps without downloading
New Delhi, Tech Desk. The Google Play Store subscription model is about to undergo major changes. This information has been obtained through the company’s official blog post. Google is soon going to market (sell) the apps on its Play Store. That is, users will be able to subscribe to any app on the Google Play Store without downloading it. After doing this, users will be able to get rid of repeated pop-ups in in-app. Currently you download any app from Google Play Store for free, but to use some apps you have to subscribe. To do this, users have to purchase the app from the in-app marketplace after installing the app. This system is going to change soon.
If understood in easy language, then suppose you have downloaded Spotify or Youtube Music app to your device. As soon as you open these apps it prompts you for a premium subscription. Although you can also use these apps for free, but premium users get some additional (additional) features. To do this, these apps keep prompting you in between. In the new change in the Google Play Store, users will get a subscription option in the App Store itself. Users will be able to subscribe to the app without downloading it.
Billing Library Version 3
Some time ago Google had mentioned about Billing Library Version 3 in its blog post, in which users can purchase any app from outside. Not only this, users can also redeem any app’s free trial and promo codes even before installing the app. Although Google has hinted about bringing these features, but has not shared any official information for how this feature will work for apps.
At the same time, talking about TechCrunch’s report, a new feature of the Google Play Store can be found on the listing page, a free trial and install button and an install button. As soon as the user clicks on these buttons, the Play Store will give the user the option to purchase or subscribe to the app. In these two options on the listing page, the user will further enter information about the details and subscription model of the app.
Trying to make marketing model transparent
It is believed that this move of Google is being taken to make the marketing model more transparent. This will make it easier for developers to create a customer base. In the current situation, there are many users who download an app from the Google Play Store, as soon as the app has any kind of subscription model, users immediately delete that app from their device. By doing this, developers face difficulty in identifying the premium users. Therefore, Google is preparing to introduce the new subscription model, so that users with any subscription app will be able to subscribe directly from the Play Store. The benefit to the user will be that there is no need to install and uninstall any subscription app.

Google Assitant will now recognise up to six different voices per speaker.
Google will be rolling out additional features for its artificial intelligence-based voice assistant – Google Assistant – to various new devices starting this week. The most important of these features is voice match, which allows smart speakers to recognise the voice of the specific user, and personalise responses for that user. It will also now be possible to adjust sensitivity for detecting the hot-word used to invoke Google Assistant, and also select a default speaker from the Google Home app on your smartphone.
The Mountain View-based Internet company announced the new features through an official blog post, and the features will be rolling out starting this week to a wider range of smart speakers. The full suite of Google Assistant features has already been available for Google’s own smart devices, such as the Google Home and Google Nest Mini smart speakers. With this update, these features will be available to Google Assistant even on third-party devices such as the Lenovo Smart Clock and Bose Portable Home Speaker.
Voice match is capable of recognising up to six unique voices for each smart speaker; different members of the family can get personalised responses or set specific reminders that will be served to that particular user. Hot-word sensitivity will allow users to set how easily the speaker can detect the phrase, which could help overcome accidental invocations and multiple speakers detecting the wake phrase. Finally, setting a default speaker will trigger that speaker for specific tasks, regardless of which Google Assistant-powered device receives the command.
Google Assistant is available on many smart devices, including smartphones, smart speakers, smart televisions, headphones, and more. The voice assistant allows users to access information or control devices with their voices, offering hands-free convenience regardless of the device in use. With this update, many more smart devices will gain additional capabilities that have thus far been limited to Google’s own hardware.

As per the rules mentioned in a forum post on the Mi Community forums, users participating in the MIUI 12 testing need to be an active forum member of Mi Community, India. They also need to update their phones to the latest Global Stable ROM available officially before proceeding for participation. Further, pilot testers are required to join a Telegram group by June 16 and fill a Google form by giving their details.
The provided ROM will be a pre-release version and not final build and hence it might contain major bugs. If your current device is the daily driver device then we recommend you wait for the full stable ROM rollout,” Xiaomi mentioned on its forum post.
MIUI 12 will initially reach the Mi 9, Mi 9T, Mi 9T Pro, Redmi K20, and Redmi K20 Pro. However, the company would take some time in bringing the new update to the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, and Redmi Note 7S models.

What will be special in Android 11
Among the new features being added to Android 11 are one time access to location, microphone and camera data access. Due to this new feature, developers will get more and more information. Due to this new option, developers who create the app will get access to the user’s data as long as the user uses the app. If the user leaves using an app, then the developer will not have access to the data related to the user’s location etc.
Another major upgrade that has been seen in Android 11 is that now users will get freedom from spam calls. Android 11 will get access to stop call screening apps. With the help of this software, the apps will find out about the call using artificial intelligence, which can prove to be a great weapon to check spamming and fake calls. Apart from this, it will also have a record as to why any user has rejected a call. If the users give permission, then the calling app of Android 11 will be able to detect whether the call is being made from any of your contact list or a call is being made from an unknown number.
