Realme is getting ready to drop its first big series of 2026, and the leaks are already painting a pretty expensive picture. On January 6, 2026, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will officially land in India, but tipster Paras Guglani just spoiled the surprise by leaking the retail box.
The thing is, that box has a “sticker price” of ₹43,999. Or nothing. Let’s be real, box prices in India are always higher than the actual selling price. Expect the launch day price to sit closer to ₹35,999 to ₹38,000 once you factor in the usual bank offers. Those too.

The “Urban Wild” Design
Realme brought back Japanese design legend Naoto Fukasawa for this one. They’re calling the new look “Urban Wild”—which basically means they’ve used a bio-based organic silicone (essentially plant-based straw) to create a leather-like back that’s dirt-resistant and “skin-soft.”

The Colors: You’ve got Master Gold and Master Grey, plus two India-exclusive shades: Camellia Pink and Orchid Purple.

The Build: It’s a quad-curved body, 8.5mm thick, and weighs in at 203g. It’s even got IP68/IP69 protection, so it can handle a high-pressure jet wash. Not that you should try it.
Camera: The “Portrait Master” Flex
This is where it gets interesting. Realme is debuting LumaColor Image tech, developed in a new TÜV-certified lab, to fix the “orange skin” and weird lighting issues common in mid-range portraits.
