Tata Motors is basically clearing the decks before 2026 rolls in. They just dropped these massive year-end EMI schemes. And then you realize you can actually park a new car in your driveway for less than the cost of a fancy dinner for two.

The thing is, they’re covering everything from their basic hatchbacks to the high-tech EVs. It’s a December push. Pure and simple.

The ICE Breakdown (Petrol/Diesel)

For the regular fuel cars, the entry point is low. Like, surprisingly low. What draws people there is the Tiago at ₹4,999 a month.

  • Punch & Tigor: These are sitting at ₹5,999. Those too.

  • Altroz: A bit higher at ₹6,777.

  • Nexon: The fan favorite starts at ₹7,666.

  • Curvv: Their new coupe-SUV is at ₹9,999.

But here’s the kicker: these low numbers aren’t magic. They use what’s called a Balloon Scheme.” You pay small amounts for 84 months, but then you have to cough up a lump sum—25% or 30% of the loan—right at the end. It’s a way to keep the monthly hit small, or nothing.

The EV Long Game

If you’re looking at the electrics, the math changes. They’ve stretched the repayment to a massive 120 months. That is ten years. Let’s be real, that’s a long time to be paying for a car.

Model Monthly EMI (Starting)
Tiago.ev ₹5,999
Punch.ev ₹7,999
Nexon.ev ₹10,999
Curvv.ev ₹14,555

The logic here is accessibility. They want to lower the “barrier to entry” for EVs. And then you have the fuel savings to offset the long-term interest. It’s an ongoing gamble on battery tech and resale value.

The Ground Reality

I’ve been looking at the fine print. These offers are only valid until December 31, 2025. Most of these deals are for MY25 (Model Year 2025) stock. If you find a leftover MY24 on the lot, you might even snag an extra discount on top of these EMIs.

Manufacturing is still buzzing at Pune and Sanand. They’ve got over 3,500 service points now. So, you won’t be stranded. But the actual EMI you get depends on your credit score and the local taxes in your city. It’s never exactly the “starting at” price.
