In a major relief for thousands of aspirants, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved a one-time 3-year age relaxation for the ongoing recruitment of 32,679 constable-level posts. This decision, confirmed via an official government order on January 5, 2026, directly addresses the grievances of youth who became overage during the pandemic and recruitment delays.

1. Revised Age Limits (As of July 1, 2025)
The 3-year relaxation applies to all categories (General, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST).

4. Eligibility & Selection Criteria

2. DV & PST: Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (Height/Chest).
3. PET: Running (4.8 km in 25 min for males; 2.4 km in 14 min for females).
