Chinese smartphone company Vivo has confirmed its next flagship lineup. The company will launch the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro in India on December 2nd at 12 noon IST.
Both smartphones were launched in China earlier this year, followed by a global launch last month, and are now finally arriving for Indian buyers. Interestingly, the tech giant has also announced an exclusive red color variant for India. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Vivo X300 and X300 Pro.
Vivo X300 and X300 Pro specifications and features
- Both devices feature similar powerful technology. This includes MediaTek’s 3nm Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with Vivo’s in-house Pro Imaging VS1 chip and V3+ imaging chip. This combination is expected to deliver faster processing, better thermal efficiency, and excellent imaging performance.
- The Vivo X300 Pro has the more advanced camera system of the two. It features a Zeiss-tuned triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP HPB APO telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor.
- The standard Vivo X300 also features a triple-camera setup, but with a different combination: a 200MP HPB main camera, a Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP front camera, just like the Pro model.
- Vivo has also released a dedicated Telephoto Extender Kit, featuring a Zeiss 2.35x teleconverter lens. Designed to work seamlessly with the telephoto mode in the camera app, this kit also supports NFC for automatic detection.
Vivo X300 and X300 Pro price in India (expected)
While the company hasn’t yet revealed the price at which it will launch in India, several reliable tipsters have shared early estimates. According to them, the Vivo X300 could be priced at ₹74,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and ₹80,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model. The Vivo X300 Pro is expected to be priced at ₹99,999.
