Invest in NPS

The National Pension Scheme (NPS) was launched by the Central Government. Through NPS, people make arrangements for pension during their job itself. If you invest in NPS, you secure your future. If you invest 60% in equity and 40% in debt, you get an average return of 10%. If you invest Rs 15,000 every month for 30 years, you get a pension of Rs 1 lakh on retirement.

Invest in SIP

One can invest in a SIP i.e. Systematic Investment Plan to get a pension of one lakh rupees every month. If you invest at the age of 30 and invest for 30 years, you can build a huge retirement fund. If you invest Rs 56,660 in a month then your fund will become Rs 2 crore and if you get 12% yield on it then you will earn Rs 1 lakh pension every month.

Inflation will also have to be taken care of

According to experts, an investor can choose Hybrid or Conservative Hybrid SWP (Systematic Withdrawal Plan) fund which works to protect you from inflation by giving around 7-8 percent annual return. Investors have to take care of inflation even after retirement. If we assume a life of 30 years even after retirement, then to get 1 lakh pension, the investor will have to take into account the inflation rate of 6%. Considering inflation, the SWP should have a corpus of Rs 2.76 crore.
