After the central employees, now lakhs of employees-pensioners of Uttarakhand are going to get the gift of Diwali. It is reported that before Diwali, along with increase in dearness allowance of lakhs of employees of the state, the benefit of bonus can also be given. For this the Finance Department has started preparations. On October 12, a big meeting is going to be held under the chairmanship of CM Pushkar Dhami, in which the DA increase can be stamped.

In fact, every year the state government gives bonus on Diwali to government employees up to 4800 grades working in government departments. Since Diwali is in October itself and the process of getting it has started in other states, so the state government employees too. Preparations are being made to give the gift of Diwali bonus soon. The Finance Department has prepared a proposal for this and it will be placed in the cabinet meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on October 12. The bonus amount will be released as soon as it is approved from here.

Preparations are also going on in full swing for the same dearness allowance. At present, the employees are getting 34 percent dearness allowance and after the announcement of four percent hike, it will increase to 38 percent. All government employees and pensioners of the state will get the benefit of this increase in dearness allowance.
