Amazon Prime Lite membership: Amazon India has reduced the fees of its ‘Amazon Prime Lite subscription’. The company has reduced the price of its annual plan.
E-commerce giant Amazon has reduced the fees for its Amazon Prime Lite subscription in India. The company has reduced the annual fee by Rs 200. Till now the company used to charge Rs 999 for annual subscription, but now customers will get this plan for only Rs 799. The company has not only reduced the price but Amazon has also changed the benefits available under this plan.
Changes in benefits also
Under Amazon Prime Lite subscription, the company is now offering the option of one day delivery, two day, scheduled delivery and same day delivery. Apart from this, no cost EMI, free screen replacement for 6 months, Amazon deals and early access to videos will also be given by the company. Apart from this, under the new plan, the company will also do morning delivery on orders above Rs 175 without rush-shipping and cashback up to Rs 25. Another change the company has made is that earlier 2 devices were compatible with Amazon Prime Lite subscription, but now only one device will be compatible with this plan.
Video quality will be HD
Under this plan, the video quality is limited to HD only and you will not get the facility of Amazon Prime Music and Reading which comes with the standard plan. Let us tell you, in India the company offers a total of 4 plans in which there was a monthly plan of Rs 299, a quarterly plan of Rs 599, a standard annual plan of Rs 1,499 and an Amazon Lite subscription plan of Rs 999, which has now become Rs 799.
Difference between light and standard plan
The difference between Amazon’s Lite and Standard plans is that in the Standard plan you get support of unlimited Amazon Prime ads, free videos, music, reading etc. The company also provides morning delivery of items up to Rs 50. You also get Prime Gaming and Family offers with the standard plan.
