Bank Holidays In May 2022 The Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays in the month of May.

In the month of May, people will also have to face 12 days of bank closure amidst the scorching heat. Bank holidays starting from the first week of May will continue till the last week of the month. Banks will be closed for a total of 12 days in May. In the middle of the scorching heat in May, leave the house only after checking the bank holidays.

Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays for the month of May. Banks will remain closed for several days in May due to festivals like Eid, Parashuram Jayanti, Buddha Purnima.

Banks will remain closed on May 2 on account of Eid-ul-Fitr in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. May 2 is also the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Parshuram. On this day also, banks will remain closed in many other states as well. May 3 is the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr and there will be banks across the country on this day. This day is also the Basava Jayanti in Karnataka. Basava is a local holiday in Karnataka.
