SBI CBO Recruitment 2021 According to the CBO Recruitment Advertisement (No. CRPD/ CBO/2021-22/19) issued by the State Bank of India (SBI) on Wednesday, 8 December 2021, a total of 1226 CBO posts are to be recruited, out of which 1100 posts are regular vacancies. And there are 126 Backlog Vacancy.
Job news for the aspirants who are seeking government jobs in SBI. State Bank of India (SBI) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Circle Based Officers (CBOs) in its five Circle Branches in 6 states.
As per the CBO Recruitment Advertisement (No. CRPD/ CBO/2021-22/19) issued by the Bank on Wednesday, 8 December 2021, a total of 1226 CBO posts are to be recruited, out of which 1100 posts are regular vacancies and 126 are backlog vacancies.
Interested candidates can apply through the official website of SBI, sbi.co.in from today, December 9. State Bank has fixed 29th December as the last date to apply for CBO Vacancy.
Candidates will also have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs 750 by 29 December. However, there is no fee for SC, ST and Divyang candidates
Eligibility for SBI 1226 CBO Recruitment
According to SBI CBO Recruitment 2021 Notification, such candidates are eligible to apply, who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.
Also, the age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st December 2021, i.e. candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd December 1991 and not later than 1st December 2000. However
the upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Divyang and other reserved categories as per government rules. For more details refer recruitment notification.
Selection Process for SBI 1226 CBO Recruitment
According to the CBO notification released by the State Bank, the candidates will be selected for the advertised posts on the basis of written test and interview.
The written test will be of two hours and will consist of total 120 questions from English, Banking, General Awareness/Economy and Computer Aptitude. There will be 120 marks for the written test and there will be no negative marking in the exam.
Candidates declared successful in written examination will be called for interview on the basis of merit after screening of merit. 50 marks are allotted for the interview. The final selection list will be prepared on the basis of written test and interview marks and the weightage of marks for both the stages is 75:25.
