Many important decisions have been taken in the meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. 6th Pay Commission Pensioners – Family pensioners and All India Service pensioners and family pensioners belonging to the state cadre will be given family pension pension allowance on the basic pay. It has been decided to provide pension allowance at the rate of 5, 10 and 15%. For this, pensioners in the age group of 65 to 80 years will get its benefit.
Apart from this, outsourced staff will be deployed. For this the report has been placed before the cabinet and has been approved in-principle. A draft policy document will be prepared soon. The Cabinet has given its approval to give revised pay scale to the teachers and scientists of Agricultural University Palampur as per the Seventh Pay Commission.
More than 240 teachers of the university will get its benefit. The teachers of the same Forestry University Noni will be given revised pay scale. It has also been decided to provide UGC Kirtan revised pay scale to the officers from January 1, 2016 through the new pay scale.
In fact, a big relief has been given to outsourced employees in the cabinet meeting. 27000 employees will get its benefit. Himachal Pradesh Skill Development Corporation will be renamed as Himachal Pradesh Skill Development and Employment Corporation under the provision of Companies Act 2013. With only doing this, they will get freedom from exploitation of private company including their salary. Along with this, the same company will also do new recruitment and will also implement the roster.
Apart from this, it has also been decided to give revised pay scale to the employees of District Court. Keeping in view the convenience of the local people, it has been decided to remove the Patwar circle of Kullu district and include it in Banjar. Approval has also been given to open new police post for creation and filling up of 6 posts.
Provide revised pay scale to the functions of District Court from January 1, 2016 and it has been decided to make amendments in the attached list in the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Court Employees Act 2005.
