Under the National Education Policy 2020, composite report cards will be made for classes 1 to 3. The pilot scheme will also be in 75 schools of the country.

CBSE News : Under the National Education Policy, CBSE is going to make a big change regarding the report card of the students. Composite report card will be prepared in the schools coming under the Central Board of Secondary Education. The scheme will be implemented for the students of classes 1 to 3 in CBSE affiliated schools. Due to this, the qualities, talent, weakness and strength of the children will not be mentioned on the basis of their report card. This change will affect more than 60 lakh students of the country.

Special reports will also be made for 9th and 12th class
According to the report, teachers as well as principals will have an important role to play in collecting basic and uniform data. Their opinion and format of assessment will be finalised. It will also be shared with the States and Union Territories for approval, if required. This change is going to happen on the recommendations of National Education Policy 2020. At the same time, the format of Composite Report Card for class 9th to 12th will be prepared structurally.

Scheme will start in 74 schools

According to the information received, at present the Ministry of Education can start this new scheme in 74 schools on the basis of pilot project. In which there are 16 government schools, 33 private schools and 25 Kendriya Vidyalayas. The scheme will also be monitored on a daily basis. Under this plan of the new education policy, the skills test of the students will be taken in every class. Along with himself, his teachers, principal and parents will also contribute in this self-assessment.
