The central government has once again given a big relief to the employees. In fact, once again an increase in DA of central employees (DA Hike) has been announced. His DA has been increased by 3 per cent.
Let us inform that the Ministry of Defense has issued orders on the DA increase of officers and personnel below the rank of officer. Which will benefit lakhs of employees. The same DA increase will be applicable from January 1, 2022. Along with this, the arrears will be paid to the employees.
The order issued states that the DA increase of officers and personnel below the rank of Armed Forces Officer has been directed after seeing the letter No.
1(6)/2021-D (Pay/Services) dated 27 October 2021 of the Ministry That the President is pleased to decide that the Dearness Allowance payable to him shall be increased to 34% from the existing 31% w.e.f. 01.01.2022 to officers of the Armed Forces including non-combatants (enrollees) and personnel below the rank of officer. ,
Whereas in the revised pay structure, the word ‘Basic Pay’ means the pay drawn in the prescribed level in the Pay Matrix as per the 78 CPC recommendations approved by the Government, but does not include any other type of pay like special pay etc. ie DA increase Basic Pay will be decided on
Dearness Allowance will continue to be an exclusive element of remuneration and will not be treated as pay within the ambit of Pay Rules of Defense Force Personnel. In payment of Dearness Allowance, fractions of 50 paise and above may be rounded off to the next higher rupee and fractions below 50 paise may be ignored.
Earlier, the increase given for government employees was announced by the central government employees. Where DA had increased from 31 to 34 percent with an increase of 3 percent in their lamp. The same will be paid for their DA hike from the month of April.
After which the lump sum amount will increase in the account of the employees. Also they will be paid arrears for 3 months. However, this time the DA will be calculated on the basic pay.
