These vehicles are not only economical, but also give more mileage than petrol-diesel and also reduce your monthly expenses a lot. CNG vehicles cause up to 24 percent less pollution than diesel vehicles.

Hyundai Centro CNG

Hyundai’s entry-level i.e. cheapest car Santro has also been made available in CNG variant. The Centro CNG is being sold in Magna and Sportz variants.

The Sportz variant of the car has been given a 1.1-litre bi-fuel 4-cylinder, SOHC CNG engine that makes 59.17 Bhp power and 85.31 Nm peak torque.

This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, which is claimed to have a range of 30.48 kms in 1 kg of CNG.

Hyundai Aura CNG

The Hyundai Aura S CNG petrol sedan is a solid choice for the customers. The compact sedan is powered by a 1.2-litre CNG petrol engine that makes 68 Bhp and 95 Nm of peak torque.

The car comes with a manual transmission and the company has claimed that the Aura can be driven up to 28 km in 1 kg of CNG. Hyundai has fixed the ex-showroom price of this car at Rs 7.74 lakh.

Tata Tiago CNG

Like the petrol variants, the XE, XM, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ dual-tone is available in all engine options. The Tiago gets the bigger and more powerful engine of both. It sports a 1.2-litre Revotron motor like its petrol parallel, but makes a peak power output of 72 hp and 95 Nm of maximum torque.

The motor only comes with a 5-speed MT. The company claims that it gives a mileage of 26.49 km/kg. The price of Tiago CNG starts from Rs 6.09 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.64 lakh (ex-showroom).

New Generation Celerio CNG

The CNG variant of Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been introduced which is economical as well as value for money. This car takes a big cut on your petrol and diesel expenditure.

Standard Celerio petrol design and all the features have been given with Celerio CNG. It is paired with a 1.0-litre dual-jet VVT K-series petrol engine that is mated to a 60-litre capacity CNG tank.

Maruti Suzuki says that in one kg of CNG, the Celerio can be driven up to 35.60 km. Maruti Suzuki has kept the ex-showroom price of Celerio CNG at Rs 6.58 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG

If you are looking for a CNG car with 7 seating capacity, then Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga will be the best for you. The company has used a 1.5 liter capacity petrol engine in this car, which generates 92PS of power and 122Nm of torque in CNG.

This car gives a mileage of 26.08 kmpl on CNG. Keep in mind that the CNG variant is available only in the Vxi model. The starting price of the CNG variant of this car is Rs 9.87 lakh.
