CNG-PNG Rate Hike: There has been a big increase in the prices of CNG and PNG in Uttar Pradesh. CNG has increased by Rs 8.30 in the state, while the price of PNG has increased by Rs 6.30.

The new price of CNG will now increase from Rs 72.50 to Rs 80.80 in Lucknow and Unnao. The rate of PNG will now increase from Rs 38.50 per standard cubic meter to Rs 45. Earlier in December, about two and a half rupees were increased in CNG and PNG.

Affordable prices in Mumbai

The prices of CNG and PNG have been cut in Mumbai. Gas distribution company Mahanagar Gas Limited has announced a reduction of Rs 6 per kg in the retail price of CNG and Rs 3.50 per cubic meter in piped cooking gas (PNG).

MGL said in a statement on Thursday that the state government has decided to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) on natural gas from 13.5 per cent to three per cent with effect from April 1. With this decision, the retail price of CNG in Mumbai and its adjoining areas has gone up to Rs 60 per kg and that of domestic PNG to Rs 36 per cubic metre.

Petrol and diesel rates stable

At the same time, government oil companies have released the rates of petrol-diesel on Friday. There has been no increase in oil prices today i.e. on April 1. The rates of petrol and diesel are stable in all the four metros including the national capital Delhi.

Oil prices have not increased across the country. It is to be known that the rates of petrol and diesel were increasing continuously for the last several days. According to the latest rates of IOCL, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 101.81 per liter and diesel is being sold at the rate of Rs 93.07 per liter.

LPG gas cylinder becomes costlier by Rs 250

With this, new rates of LPG cylinders have been released. This time LPG gas cylinder has become expensive by Rs 250 in one stroke. However, this increase has not happened in domestic LPG cylinders but in commercial gas cylinders.

Therefore, domestic LPG cylinder customers have got relief for the time being. Let us tell you that the prices of domestic gas cylinders had increased a few days ago, while on March 22, the commercial cylinders became cheaper.
