Zuckerberg said that through our partnership we want to do something different for the world through all products and technology. He said therefore we are excited to work with Jio to take this vision forward. It will be expanded everywhere in the coming months and years, Zuckerberg said. He said that the company’s strong balance sheet proved to be a ‘significant asset’ this quarter.

Zuckerberg said that India has the largest number of Facebook and WhatsApp users in the world. He said, we think there is a significant opportunity to serve small businesses and enable business in India in the long term. “With JioMart bringing JioMart together and connecting millions of stores with WhatsApp across India, Jio’s small business initiative is better, we think we are going to create a better shopping and commerce experience,” Zuckerberg said.

Zuckerberg said our focus is to bring small businesses on all apps such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and FB Messenger to communicate with people in an organized manner to help them transact faster.
