Dearness Allowance of government employees has been increased by 9 percent. This decision will be applicable from 1 January 2023. The State Government has issued an order in this regard. About 70 thousand government employees will be benefited by this decision of the Shivraj government.
MP Employees DA Hike: There is good news for the government employees of Madhya Pradesh. After 7.50 lakh employees of 7th pay scale, now thousands of employees of 6th Pay Commission have got the gift. The Shivraj government of the state has increased the dearness allowance of the employees of the sixth pay scale. In this regard, orders have been issued by the Finance Department of Madhya Pradesh Government.
Benefits to thousands of employees
The Madhya Pradesh government has increased the Dearness Allowance by 9 percent for the employees getting the 6th pay scale. This decision will be applicable from 1 January 2023. The State Government has issued an order in this regard. About 70,000 government employees will be benefited by this decision of the Shivraj government. Be informed that the dearness allowance of the employees who were getting the 7th pay scale was increased by 4 percent in the past.
Applicable from 1 January 2023
It has been said in the order that by September 31, 2022, allowance was being paid at the rate of 203 percent from August 1, 2022, to the government employees getting salary in the sixth pay scale of the state government. In which now 9 percent more DA has been increased. It was already announced, orders regarding which have just been issued by the state government. The payment of allowance will be applicable from January 1.
4% DA has increased for 7th pay scale employees
It may be noted that in the past, the Madhya Pradesh government had increased the dearness allowance of state government employees and officers by 4 per cent, after which the total DA of the employees has increased from 34 per cent to 38 per cent. The same MP Power Management Company Limited has also issued orders to give 4 percent additional dearness allowance in the seventh pay scale to the employees working in the company. Under this, from January 1, 2023, 4 percent additional allowance will be given to the personnel in the seventh pay scale on the basic pay at present. Employees will get a total of 38 percent dearness allowance from January 1, 2023.
