Delhi Airport Flight Delays:  Delhi Airport on Tuesday informed passengers about flight delays. In fact, there was dense fog in the national capital for the third consecutive day, due to which visibility became almost zero. According to data from Delhi airport’s flight information display system, around 30 flights were delayed in both arrivals and departures at Indira Gandhi International Airport, while five flights were delayed for Jaipur between 8:30 am and 10:00 am. Has been diverted.

Delhi airport also issued an advisory for passengers saying that landings and takeoffs will continue at the airport, but flights which are not CAT III compliant may be affected. Let us tell you that CAT III equipment is an anti-fog landing system introduced during poor visibility.

Eight flights were diverted

Earlier on Monday, eight flights were diverted from Delhi airport. Seven were sent to Jaipur and one to Ahmedabad. Officials said the flights were diverted between 6 am and 9 am.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of fog in the national capital till December 28 . The Meteorological Department said, ‘There will be fog from December 29 to December 30 and the minimum temperature is expected to drop by a few degrees.’

Meanwhile, apart from Delhi, there were very dense clouds over isolated parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, East Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. IMD said that on Monday morning there was moderate fog in different parts of western Uttar Pradesh and light fog in different parts of Chandigarh, Bihar, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tripura.
