DGCA order on international flights:  There is important news for those traveling abroad. The suspension of scheduled international passenger flights is about to end.

Aviation Regulatory DGCA said that scheduled international commercial passenger services going to and from India will resume from March 27.

Order has been issued for this. Earlier on January 19, the suspension of these flights was extended till February 28.

Significantly, due to Corona in the country, scheduled international passenger flights were suspended from March 23, 2020. But, then from July 2020, special passenger flights are being operated between India and about 45 countries under the air bubble arrangement.

DGCA had canceled

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi had asked the Civil Aviation Ministry and the DGCA to review their decision. The PM had said that it should be reviewed in view of the growing concerns about the Covid-19 variant Omicron.

After this, on December 1, 2021, DGCA canceled its decision of November 26 without informing. It was not clear how long the suspension of scheduled international flights would continue.
