Although the consent of the Government of Chhattisgarh was sought for increase in dearness allowance for pensioners from January 2023 itself, but after not getting the consent of the government, now pensioners will get the benefit of 5% dearness relief from the month of July.
Sixth pay scale: DR rate increased from 11 percent
Along with this, the rate of DR was also increased from 11 percent for the pensioners getting the sixth pay scale. With which the rate of his pension has increased to 212%. For this also an order was issued by the Finance Department, while the dearness relief has been increased at the rate of 40% for the pensioners getting the fifth pay scale.
DR rate in urban bodies has been increased from 5 percent
At the same time, Urban Bodies and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that from October 1, 2022, dearness relief at the rate of 33% was being provided to the pensioners of the civic bodies. which has now been extended. From the month of July, dearness relief at the rate of 38 per cent with an additional 5 per cent will be available to them. The decision to increase inflation for pensioners from 33 to 38 percent has also been implemented in all the bodies of the department. Along with this, pensioners will get financial benefit of 400 to ₹ 4000 every month. The same will be paid to them from the month of August. Pensioners getting the sixth pay scale in urban bodies will get the benefit of pension at the rate of 11%, the dearness relief of their pension has been increased to 212%.
4% increase in dearness allowance, increase in house rent allowance
