Employees DA Hike : Good news! Increase in DA, payment of arrears in 8 installments, up to Rs 30000 will come in the account, order issued

They will get the benefit of DA hike along with January salary. Earlier, the installment of arrears for the month of July 2021 has also been paid by the government.

Employees DA Hike: Big relief has been given to government employees-pensioners. In fact, before Basant Panchami, their dearness allowance was increased. Orders have also been issued in this regard. Under the issued order, the dearness allowance increase of the pensioners will be given in the salary of the month of January. And in February they will get increased salary.

2.73% increase in dearness allowance of employees pensioners

On Monday, an increase of 2.73% has been approved in the dearness allowance of government employees and pensioners. Government orders have been issued in this regard by the Telangana government. Now their dearness allowance has increased from 17.29% to 20.02%. In the matter, Finance Minister Harish Rawat said that the hike will be applicable from July 1, 2021. The same DA dues from July 2021 to January 2022 will be deposited in the GPF account of the employees in 8 installments. On the other hand, the outstanding DA will be paid to the employees retiring on May 31. Those employees are exempted from making any contribution to the Provident Fund during the last four months of service.

Payment of arrears in 8 equal installments by March 2023

With this increase, pensioners of Rs 2 lakh 88 thousand including 4 lakh 40 thousand employees will get a big benefit. The payment of arrears of dearness relief for the period 1 July 2021 to 31 December 2022 will be started from February 2023. At the same time, till March 2023, it will be paid to the employees in 8 equal installments. The pending DA for July, 2021 has also been released by the government.

Benefit of dearness relief

The benefit of the increase in the dearness allowance of the employees will be given to them on February 1 along with the salary of January 2023. While the benefit of revision in dearness relief will be given to those employees who have retired from service on or after July 1, 2018 and are getting pension as per the revised pay scale.

Apart from this, the benefit of dearness relief will also be given to those employees who have retired before July 1, 2018 but the pension has been consolidated as per the government order issued earlier.

Apart from this, the announcement of revision of dearness allowance to pension employees who draw pension in revised pay scale 2015 will be effective from July 1, 2021. At the same time, the basic pension has been increased from 51.87% to 55.536% in the form of monetary benefit.

Benefits of Revised Pension Rules

Issuing an order for this, it was said that the State Government Servants Family Pension Rules 1964 including the Revised Pension Rules 1951, Andhra Pradesh Borrowed Pension Rules 1961, revised dearness relief for employees and pensioners receiving service pension family pension under the revised pension. Rules 1980 will be eligible for. The same rules will also apply to teachers and non-teaching staff receiving pension under the Pension and Gratuity Rules 1961 from Contribution Provident Fund, as well as teachers and non-teaching pensioners of educational institutions aided by municipal, Panchayat Raj institutions. Along with this, those receiving compassionate pension under the rules of Compassionate, Pensioner, Graduate in Hyderabad Civil Services Rules will also be eligible for this pension.
