In the meeting held with the officer, the proposal to add 4% additional honorarium to the salary of assistant teachers from class 6th to 8th after confirmation of their service has been approved.
Actually, proposals for four percent annual increase in the honorarium of teachers were prepared by the Jharkhand government. Which was approved in the cabinet meeting. There are 61000 teachers in Jharkhand. Out of which only a few are being given the benefit of annual honorarium increase.
The responsibility of service confirmation rests with the Block Education Promotion Officer, District In-charge of teachers and District Education Superintendents, but in some cases it is not being completed till now.
4% annual increase in honorarium from January 2023

Area Education Officer Ram G Kumar, ex-officio Secretary of the Administrative Disciplinary Committee, said that the Block Education Officer had presented certificates related to the academic, administrative and selection of teachers from classes 6 to 8 working in the block.
After investigation, his service has been satisfied. In this situation, four teachers have also retired. With the confirmation of service, assistant teachers will now be given the benefit of annual honorarium increase from October.
In their case, increase four percent and they will be paid from the month of October. In such a situation, the amount in his account will increase in the month of November. For a long time, assistant teachers were demanding service satisfaction. After a long struggle of 3 months, finally the honorarium of assistant teachers has been increased by 4%. With which his honorarium can increase to Rs 22000.
