In NPS, 10 percent of the basic salary and DA of the state government employee is deducted and the same amount is also given by the state government. 

However, in the case of central employees, the central government contributes 14 percent. Now the Chhattisgarh government will also contribute equally to the central government. Employees will get direct benefit of this.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made many important announcements for the people of the state on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day.

CM has announced to increase the contribution of the state government from 10 percent to 14 percent in the contributory pension scheme. This will benefit the employees in pension.

The State Government’s share in the New Contributory Pension Scheme (NPS) remains 10 percent. Chhattisgarh has become the first state which has increased its contribution in pension from 10 to 14 percent.

In NPS, 10 percent of the basic salary and DA of the state government employee is deducted and the same amount is also given by the state government. However, in the case of central employees, the central government contributes 14 percent.

Now the Chhattisgarh government will also contribute equally to the central government. Employees will get direct benefit of this. At the time of retirement, his pension fund will increase.

Along with this, CM Baghel has also announced to implement the system of 5 days working for the state employees  . Soon there will be a process to implement it.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel saluted the national flag on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day by hoisting the flag at the main function organized at Lalbagh Maidan of Jagdalpur, Bastar district headquarters today. During this, while addressing the public, CM Baghel announced many gifts.

Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana will be started for the daughters of labor families, under which a lump sum amount of 20-20 thousand

rupees will be paid in the bank account of the first two daughters of the beneficiaries.

By amending the industrial policy, 10 percent plots will be reserved for entrepreneurship development in other backward classes. From the Kharif year 2022-23, pulses crops like moong, urad, tur etc. will also be purchased at the minimum support price in the state.
