Earlier a report said that Ko First Airline has paid the June salaries to all the employees before Ganesh Chaturthi. Recently, immediate funding of Rs 100 crore was secured from lenders to meet the expenses.
Payment of full salary for the month of June
The report said the Rs 100 crore fund would be used to pay salary insurance premiums and other dues of employees, including parking and airport costs. Last week, the airlines had paid the entire salary for the month of June to the employees after the airline’s shareholders approved the corporate insolvency resolution process cost of Rs 100 crore.
GoFirst’s plan to resume flights following the outcome of pending court cases and interim funding has been approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The airlines can operate 15 aircraft or 114 daily flights as part of the plan.
