Apply for higher pension: Employees can log in to the UAN Portal under this special facility of EPFO. Eligible employees can submit their application by visiting this portal.
Today is the last chance to apply for more pension under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) of EPFO. Its last date is 11 July. Earlier the last date has been extended twice. In such a situation, it is believed that this time the possibility of increasing it is very less.

Last time its last date was 26 June but in view of the technical problems coming on the website of EPFO, it was decided to extend it to 11 July. Employers who need to verify salary details have been given another three months to complete the process.
Such members will be able to apply
- Members and employers who contributed salary in excess of the then wage ceiling of Rs 5,000 or Rs 6,500.
- Members who were members of EPS prior to 1 September 2014 and continued to be members on or after that date.
- Will have to login on UAN portal: Employees can login on UAN portal under this special facility of EPFO. Eligible employees can submit their application by visiting this portal.
- For this, first of all go to the main website of EPFO website and then select the option of member login. After this, complete the process by login by choosing the option of UAN portal.
