Delhi AWS Nursery Admission has started, the last date of which has now been extended to 5th December 2023.
Directorate of Education, Delhi (DOE) has now given a chance to EWS/DG category candidates to register for entry level classes in private schools for the session 2024-25 (EWS Nursery Admission Deadline) till 5 December 2023. Let us tell you that the Directorate of Education has started this process from November 23, 2023. In such a situation, the poor parents who are racing to get their children admitted have got a few more days more time.

If you too, a parent, want to register for Delhi nursery admission, then you can adopt the online method. For this you will have to go to the official website of Directorate of Education, edudel.nic.in. By going here you can follow the registration process.
How much fee will have to be paid for the application
Interested parents can register by visiting the official website of the Education Department, edudel.nic.in. Parents have to apply for Nursery Admission 2024-25 by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 25, the last date for which is 05 December 2023. The date has been extended for those students who belong to Economically Backward Class (EWS), Disadvantaged Group (DG).
Age Limit Criteria
As per the notification, the minimum age for admission in pre-school (Nursery), pre-primary (KG) and class 1 should be 3 years, 4 years and 5 years by 31 March 2024.

- 15 December 2023- Last date for submission of forms in schools.
- 29 December 2023- Last date to upload details of child coming in open seat
- 5 January 2024- By this date marks will be uploaded under point system.
- 12 January 2024- The first list will be announced.
- 22 January 2024- Questions related to allotment will be taken till this date.
- 29 January 2024- Second list will be announced.
- 8 March 2024- By this date the admission process will end.

For your information, let us tell you that in all private unaided recognized schools admitting students in pre-school, pre-primary and class 1, 25 seats for children belonging to EWS, DG and disability categories. Percentage of seats will be reserved.
