The employees will be given the benefit of revised pay scale. Orders in this regard have been issued by the secretary of the department. Under the issued order, 85 crore rupees are to be paid to the employees as arrears from 2000 to 2010.

Employees Revised Pay Scale: State employees will be given the benefit of revised pay scale. Preparations for this has been started. Employees and pensioners will be paid from 2 lakh to 5 lakh. Its orders have been issued by the state government.

Benefit of revised pay scale
Arrears will be paid to 5000 employees and retired health workers of the state under the order issued by R Rajesh Kumar, Secretary, Health Department. Rs 85 crore will be paid to the employees as arrears from 2000 to 2010. The budget arrangements for this have been completed.

In fact, 5000 health workers of the Health Department will be given the benefit of revised salary. 85 crore rupees are to be paid for this. For a long time, the revised pay scale was being demanded by the workers working and retired in the health department.

Victory of employees in the Supreme Court as well
The employees had reached the High Court when the demand was not accepted by the government. During the hearing in the High Court, the employees presented their stand. After which a decision was given by the High Court in the interest of the employees. Although a petition was filed by the government against this in the Supreme Court, but the employees won in the Supreme Court and orders were given to give revised pay scales to the health workers.

Contempt petition was filed
However, the employees were not given the benefit of revised pay scales by the government despite the Supreme Court’s order. After which a contempt petition was filed in the court by the employees of the health department. On which orders have now been issued by the government to give revised pay scale to the health workers.
