Salary will be paid to 264620 teachers
Rs 12.19 billion has been released by Bihar School Education for payment of salaries to more than 70,000 primary and secondary school teachers of Panchayati Raj Institutions and graduate trained teachers of district cadre and staff and teachers working in the post of headmaster. The number of head teachers including working teachers and staff in primary and middle schools in Bihar is 264620. 12.19 billion rupees were released for their December salary payment.
More than 12 billion released
In fact, in the financial year 2022, under the overall education campaign in the country, less amount has been made available to the state government than the central government. 1.39 trillion rupees have been approved as grant-in-aid to the Bihar government. Out of which an amount of more than 12 billion has been released to pay salaries. Soon the salary of December will be seen in the accounts of non-teaching staff and principals including teachers. Salary to the employees including teachers will be paid district wise.
An amount of 1800 crores approved in 2022-23 for item payment
An amount of 1800 crores has been approved in 2022-23 for payment of various types of items for the employees of the university. Along with this, this amount was demanded by the university for payment of salary and pension etc. to the employees and pensioners. This amount will be used for salary and pension for the month of December. An amount of more than 245 crores has been released for the payment of university staff, further this amount is to be used for the payment of salary of ghost college and aided college teachers. Also, salaries and pensions for traditional university teachers, non-academic staff and pensioners will also be paid from this amount.
