New Delhi: Many rules are changing in the country from today i.e. 1 November 2024. This includes rules related to commercial LPG gas cylinder, credit card and UPI, which are directly related to the common man.

In such a situation, you must know about them. Last month, the Reserve Bank of India made an announcement regarding increasing the limit of UPI Lite and UPI Wallet. At the same time, now two new changes have been made to improve the UPI Lite user experience.

UPI Lite auto top-up feature launched

In fact, two important updates have been made in UPI Lite to improve the digital payment experience. In such a situation, from November 1, 2024, under the UPI Lite Auto Top-up feature, the UPI Lite balance can be reloaded automatically when it falls below a certain limit. This will eliminate the need for manual top-up, which will facilitate seamless digital payments through Unified Payments Interface (UPI) Lite.

NPCI issued a press release

In a press release dated August 27, 2024, NPCI said, “With this new feature, the UPI Lite balance will be automatically reloaded with an amount chosen by the users, which will not exceed the UPI Lite balance limit, whenever the balance falls below the minimum limit set by them.”

UPI Lite Transaction Limit

Let us tell you that last month the Reserve Bank of India has increased the UPI Lite transaction limit from Rs 500 to Rs 1000. While the UPI Lite Wallet limit was increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000. Apart from this, the Reserve Bank of India had increased the limit of UPI 123PAY per transaction from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. Let us tell you that Google Pay, PhonePe andPaytmLike UPI apps have not yet rolled out the increased limit for UPI Lite.
