It has been said by CERT-In that Google Chrome needs to be updated. Because there may be some flaws in it which can pose a threat to the security of the users. If Google Chrome is not updated, hackers can take advantage of it to steal personal information of users. In such a situation, all users should update Chrome.
The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) of the Government of India has given a serious warning to Google Chrome users. This warning has been issued regarding vulnerabilities present in Chrome OS. The government organization has asked to update Google Chrome. The alert issued is issued under CIVN-2024-0031.

How to update
To update Google Chrome, users will have to follow some steps.
Step 1- First of all open Google Chrome.
Step 2- Go to the top right corner of the window and then tap on the three dots.
Step 3- Here the option of Help will appear and then select Google Chrome.
Step 4- If update is available here then install it.
Step 5- After installing it, it will update automatically.
