The news is that Google now charges Rs 3 on every mobile recharge, along with PhonePe, Paytm also charges transaction fees from customers.
Transaction fee will be charged on prepaid recharge
If reports are to be believed, Google will charge this from those customers who do prepaid recharge for their phones. Earlier, no charge was taken from Google Pay, but now Google has changed its policy. However, till now no announcement has been made by Google for this. There may be a rule for this that if you recharge below Rs 100 then no fee will be charged from you.
Paytm is already charging fees with PhonePe
Let us tell you that before this, Paytm has been charging transaction fees on recharge along with Phone Pay for a long time. That’s why it was necessary that Google Pay changes its rules. According to the Times of India report, Rs 2 per user will be charged for transactions ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 400. If recharge of Rs 300 is done 3 times continuously then the transaction fee will be Rs 3.
There may be changes in the app also
Apart from this, if we talk about the report of India Today, whenever the users recharge their prepaid number, they will be informed about this transaction fee. Meanwhile, Google has also made changes in the app for its Indian customers, but nothing can be said about whether these changes are included in the November 10 update. Reports also suggest that customers will be informed about their fees before each transaction.
