The government has canceled the leave of employees in the fire department. Along with this, weekly holidays have also been stopped.

Before Diwali, the Manohar Lal Khattar government of Haryana has taken a big decision. The Haryana government has canceled the leave of employees in the fire department. Along with this, weekly holidays have also been stopped. The same fire brigade has been asked to prepare an action plan to deal with the incidents of fire on the day of Diwali.

To deal with any emergency situation, 14 big vehicles and 4 motorcycles have been deployed in Jhajjar, so services will be available 24 hours. In Jind district, the fire department has 93 personnel on 14 vehicles. At present, the fire brigade has six vehicles at Jind, two at Uchana, two at Safidon and four at Narwana sub-station. Fire brigade employees have to do 12-12 hours of duty amid fears of fire during Diwali festival.

After Haryana, the fire department is on alert mode in Ajmer. The employees’ leave has been canceled due to the department dealing with possible arson due to various reasons including fireworks. He has also imposed extra duty of employees along with his 45 vehicles. Chief Fire Officer of Fire Department Sanjay Sharma said that in view of the festival of Deepawali, from October 22 to October 26, the leave of all 45 employees of the staff has been canceled. All the employees will be on alert mode for 24 hours with their vehicles, so that if a fire is reported anywhere, it can be controlled by going on the spot.
