Samsung TV Plus, the web content service for Samsung TV users, is reaching Mexico, Sweden and some other European countries in 2021, including India. The service was introduced for limited access in 2015, but has now been expanded to 12 countries and 742 channels. There are about 300 broadcast network partners for Samsung TV Plus service, which will bring free content to the company’s smart TV users.

Unlike platforms like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, which require paid subscriptions, Samsung TV Plus is available for free to Samsung Smart TV users. Providing ad-supported content, the service comes pre-installed on Samsung Smart TV models from 2016 and is also part of select Samsung Galaxy smartphones such as the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy S20 in the US .
The service is currently live in 12 countries.
The countries where Samsung TV Plus is already live include Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, Switzerland, UK and USA. It recently expanded to Australia and Brazil as well. That is, the service is currently live in a total of 12 countries.
