The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted restrictions on HDFC Bank’s new digital business promotion activities.
RBI had issued a letter for this on 11 March 2022. The bank said that now it will be able to start more services.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted restrictions on private bank HDFC Bank’s new digital business-producing activities under its Digital 2.0 programme.
In an exchange filing, the bank said, “RBI has, vide a letter dated March 11, 2022, lifted the ban on business promotion activities under the Bank’s Digital 2.0 programme. Members of the Board of Directors have taken note of the RBI letter.
