Delhi Rain Alert: Heavy rains have created havoc in entire North India including Delhi since Wednesday evening. Along with the capital, Noida, Ghaziabad were waterlogged after heavy rains. The speed of vehicles came to a halt due to heavy rains that started at 6 pm. At the same time, the India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains along with lightning today i.e. on August 1 and has advised people to be cautious. Due to the continuous rain, the Delhi government has issued an order to close all schools today.

Heavy rains cause havoc…
Due to heavy rains since Wednesday evening, waterlogging has once again occurred in many areas of the capital Delhi as well as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana. People had to face a lot of problems due to waterlogging in their homes. After heavy rains, the people of Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi spent the night without electricity.
There was a jam of about 4 hours from Botanical Garden of Noida to Golf Course, Sector 34 as well as 62 to Indirapuram, Vasundhara, Mohan Nagar of Ghaziabad. Due to heavy traffic jam, people were forced to walk towards their homes.
