How to download aadhar card
- First of all, you have to go to the official website https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in to download the Aadhaar card.
- Now you have to enter your Aadhaar card number and fill the captcha.
- After this, an OTP will appear on your registered mobile number.
- After answering some questions, click on Verify and download option.
- In this way your Aadhaar card will be downloaded which you can open with a password.Â
It is known that the electronic copy of Aadhaar card is password protected. This means that to open a digital copy of the Aadhaar card, you will have to enter a password. You will find information about the password just below ‘Verify And Download’. This password is usually the first four letters of your name and then the year of your birth. Â
It is worth mentioning that while downloading a digital copy of Aadhaar card, you will see an option to download ‘Masked’ copy. This means that not all 12 digits of the Aadhaar card appear in digital copy.Â
