Rain alert in 17 districts

Light rain is expected in parts of North Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, East Madhya Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Marathwada, Uttarakhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.   • Above normal heat wave conditions would prevail over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of North Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Coastal Gujarat.
  • During May 2023, above normal day heat wave conditions are very likely over most parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, East Uttar Pradesh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
