Yellow alert for rain has also been issued in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Barabanki, Ambedkar Nagar, Bareilly, Pilibhit.

Heavy rain warning issued till Purvanchal

Due to which the moisture of Bay of Bengal is also being seen in Uttar Pradesh. Heavy rains are continuing in many areas of Purvanchal which started from Monday. The rain activity is going to continue till Saturday. Light rain will be recorded at almost all places of the state.

Heavy rain forecast

Light rain can be seen at one or two places in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Amroha including Shamli, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun. The forecast of extremely heavy rain has been expressed in Amethi, Prayagraj, Jaunpur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Chandauli and Sonbhadra.

Heavy rain warning has been issued in Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria. Yellow orange alert of medium to heavy rain has also been issued in Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Barabanki, Shravasti, Gonda, Azamnagar, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Ghazipur, Kushinagar and Ballia. Between August 26 and 29, rain with thunder and lightning has been predicted at many places in Purvanchal, including one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh.



Torrential rain warning in 22 districts

Yellow alert has also been issued for heavy rains at many places on Friday. Today, in more than 62 districts, the activity of rain will continue at some places with moderate intensity. Torrential rain warning has been issued in 22 districts. Heavy rains have created a flood situation in Ferozepur, even after which holidays have been declared in schools from classes I to VIII. Lightning has also been predicted along with strong thunderstorms.

The highest rainfall of 23 mm in 24 hours has been recorded at Mohammadi in Lakhimpur Kheri. Apart from this, this centimeter has also been recorded in Etah, Sitapur while 18 mm of rain has been recorded in Kanpur, Badaun, Bareilly and Lalitpur. 13 mm of rain has been recorded in Shahjahanpur, Hardoi and Sitapur.
