India Post GDS Recruitment: India Post has recently released the notification for the Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment. A total of 12828 posts are vacant. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The last date of application is June 11, 2023. The correction window will remain open from June 12 to June 14. The application fee is Rs 100.
Eligibility & Selection Process
The minimum age limit for registration is 18 years and maximum is 40 years. To apply, it will be mandatory for the candidates to pass Mathematics and English subjects in the 10th board examination. Along with this, it will also be mandatory for them to have knowledge of computer and cycling. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of 10th examination marks, on the basis of which candidates will be appointed. Branch Postmaster salary will be from Rs 12000 to Rs 29,380. Whereas, the salary of Assistant Branch Postmaster will range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470.
2992 posts vacant in MP
The maximum number of vacancies is vacant in NE Hindi/English, whose number is 3911. After that total 2992 posts are vacant in Madhya Pradesh. There are 1125 vacancies in Jharkhand, 1408 in Rajasthan, 160 in UP, 288 in Manipur, 948 in Odisha, 96 in Telangana, 342 in Chhattisgarh.
