New Delhi, online. India Post UP Recruitment 2020: Online applications are being made for the recruitment of 3951 Gramin Dak Sevaks in Uttar Pradesh Circle of the Indian Postal Department. Candidates for these posts can now apply online through May 7, 2020.
Earlier, the postal department had announced extension of online application date for UP GDS Recruitment 2020, according to which candidates can apply till May 7. The last date for the first application was set as 24 April 2020.
As per the notification (Recttt / GDS Online Engagement / UP / 2020/8) released by the Indian Postal Department on 23 March 2020, online for a total of 3951 posts of Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Postal Servant. The application process has started from 23 March.
These are the eligibility criteria
Candidates desirous of applying for Postal Department Uttar Pradesh GDS Recruitment 2020 should have passed 10th (Secondary) class from a recognized board or institute. Also, the candidates should have studied the local language up to 10th standard.
Also, the age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 40 years as on 23 March.
How to apply
For online application for the postal department Uttar Pradesh GDS Recruitment 2020, visit the official website, appost.in. You can download Uttar Pradesh notifications in the download notifications given on the home page. Also, click on the link for registration in the Stage 1 registration at the top of the home page. After this a new page will open where you will have to fill in your details and upload a soft copy of your photograph and signature. After filling all the required information, one can submit the application. After submitting you will get a registration number, which is noted down.
After that you will have to go to Home again and click on Pay Online under Stage 2 Fee Payment. You can pay the application fee online by filling your registration number and other details on the new page. Fees can be paid through net banking, credit or debit card.
After payment of fee one has to click on the Apply link within the Stage 3 link at home. You can go to the application window by selecting Uttar Pradesh in your registration number and circle on the new page. After filling this information, you will be able to submit your application. Download and save a soft copy of the application.
