We can say this because the iPhone 15 was initially launched in India at a price of Rs 79,900, which was about Rs 13,000-14,000 more than its price in the US.
However, after various offers and promotional discounts, the base model of iPhone 15 with 128GB storage can now be purchased at a significantly discounted price of around Rs 65,000. In this way, iPhone 15 becomes more affordable in India than its retail price in the US.
The retail price of the 128GB variant of the iPhone 15 in the US is $799, and that does not include sales tax. When sales tax is added, its price when converted into Indian Rupees becomes approximately Rs 70,000 to Rs 72,000. However, it is important to note that not all states in the US impose sales tax.
Comparing this with the current market in India (about Rs 65,000), it shows that the price of iPhone 15 128GB is higher in the US by about Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000.
When a deal was recently spotted on Flipkart, it was found that the iPhone 15 is being made available for Rs 65,999 and when combined with the bank offer, the price comes to around Rs 62,224, making it around Rs 9,000 less than the US price. Becomes cheaper by Rs 10,000.
