LIC’s Aam Aadmi Insurance Scheme is based on the nodal agency insurance scheme. If you want to take advantage of this scheme, then for this you have to pay a premium of Rs 100 every year. However, 50 percent of the money in the scheme is paid by the state governments.

In such a situation, the total premium paid in this scheme is Rs 200, out of which the applicant pays Rs 100 and the remaining Rs 100 is paid by the state government or union territory. Because of this, you can take advantage of this insurance scheme with an investment of just Rs 100.

Under the scheme, 30 thousand rupees will be given to the nominee on natural death. On the other hand, if he dies in an accident, then an amount of 75 thousand rupees will be given to the nominee. On the other hand, if the insurer suffers a complete permanent disability in the accident, then he will be given 75 thousand rupees.
