LIC Share News- LIC shares have increased by 17 percent in the last one month. It has given a return of 62 percent in the last 6 months. Even today, tremendous growth has been seen in this insurance stock.
LIC Share Price: The shares of the country’s largest insurance company, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), have seen a strong rally of up to nine percent today. Today on BSE, LIC shares rose sharply to Rs 1,130 (LIC Share Price) intraday. The 52-week high of this stock is Rs 1,175 and 52-week low is Rs 530.20.
However, once it touched the level of Rs 1130, this insurance stock declined and till the time of writing the news, it was trading at the level of Rs 1056.55 with a rise of 1.65 percent. Market experts say that the reason for the tremendous rise in LIC shares today is the company getting refund from the Income Tax Department and the launch of a new policy.
LIC shares have been rising for some time now. This stock has gained 17.17 percent in the last one month. This stock has given 71 percent profit to investors in three months and 75 percent profit in one year.
If we talk about the year 2024, then so far this year LIC shares have increased by about 27 percent. In the last trading session i.e. on Friday, LIC shares closed at the level of Rs 1039.40 on BSE. Today it opened with a rise at Rs 1081.40.
Hence the rise
LIC company has announced that it has received refund orders worth Rs 21,740 crore. The refund is for the period 2012-2019. The company said in a regulatory filing on February 16 that the total amount of refund was Rs 25,464.46 crore. However, the Income Tax Department has released Rs 21740.77 crore in February. The shares of the company have got support due to receipt of refund.
LIC has launched a new policy named Amritbal on 17th February. It is a non-linked, non-participating, individual and saving life insurance plan. This policy is for those parents who want to invest in the higher education of their children in the long term. In this the minimum entry age is 30 days and the maximum age is 13 years. New product launching has also affected the stock.
