In the new year 2022, on January 1, petroleum companies will release the rates of LPG. In such a situation, it is important to know whether domestic LPG cylinder will be cheaper or more expensive from January 1? Otherwise the price will not change.

In fact, in the early months of 2022, elections are to be held in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab. In view of this, it seems that like before, this time also the price of LPG gas will increase only after the elections. That is, the relief in the prices of LPG can continue till March.

Let us tell you that the last time the price of domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 15 on October 6, while the price of commercial cylinder was increased by Rs 100 on December 1. Petroleum companies had also made commercial cylinders costlier by Rs 266 in November. If we talk about non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders, there has been no increase or decrease in it after 6 October.

In January this year, the price of LPG cylinder was Rs 694, which was increased to Rs 719 per cylinder in February. On February 15, the price was increased to Rs 769. After this, on February 25, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced to Rs 794.

In March, the price of LPG cylinder was reduced to Rs 819. 834.50 in July, then on August 18, the prices increased by Rs 25 to Rs 859.50. After this, on September 1, it increased by Rs 25 and in October it became expensive by Rs 15.

At the same time, in the year 2021, the price of domestic cylinder increased by Rs 206. On January 1, 2021, a domestic LPG cylinder was available in Delhi for Rs 694 and as of today it has become Rs 900. At the same time, on February 4, 2021, the rate of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 1533, now it has become costlier by about Rs 600 and has reached Rs 2100.

In Gorakhpur, LPG cylinder costs Rs 962 and in Kushinagar Rs 981. Cylinder is available in Champawat of Uttarakhand for Rs 937.5 and in Indore of Madhya Pradesh for Rs 927.5. On the other hand, except Delhi, it is available for Rs 900 in Mumbai, Rs 916 in Chennai and Rs 926 in Kolkata.
